What materials did you use? Snuggle Flannels and denim from deconstructed jeans to make the rag quilt rag better.

I wanted to share my first quilt with you, I plan on making others, but this one I made for my son. I hope it's okay that it's a rag quilt, I wasn't confident enough in my skills until AFTER making this to even think about a traditional quilt like I am now after taking Gail's wonderful class. :)

I think it's fantastic! Very cool for a boy because it's not so neat and tidy looking ;) Well done on a first quilt. Have yet to finish mine :)

Pam, It's awesome. The more your son uses it, the softer and nicer it becomes. I made one for my son when he was in college. He's 30 now, with two children of his own, and STILL uses it every day!!

Oh Gail, thank you for the kind words! I am delighted to hear your son still uses his quilt. I am planning on making several traditional ones soon, and just ordered a walking foot for my Necchi Supernova, it gets here Monday! I can't wait to get quilting and put the knowledge I gained from your class to good use!
