What was your inspiration?

I had just finished a beginning quilting class. We had done a log cabin lap quilt. I kept a variation of the log cabin and added patchwork blocks. The colors are much brighter in person - closer to the colors in the block picture.

What are you most proud of?

I came up with the pattern in my head and did the whole thing by myself.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Get the pre-cut jellyroll strips and just dream in color.

I like the fact that it was your own idea..not someone else's! I really think that as a beginner with no pattern you allow yourself the freedom to create "No Borders" (no pun intended)! :) hope u keep it up! I am almost done my first quilt :)
