What materials did you use? Cotton Fabric, batting

What are you most proud of? That it finally looks 'finished'. So pleased to be confident enough to quilt this first little quilt and see how much I have learnt since making it in September 2011 for my first granddaughter Lily-Kate. All thanks to Crafsty and their wonderful classes .

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This class is excellent, I fully recommend it.

Hi love the quilt, I am doing my first quilt at the moment. I am having trouble getting all my layers to lay flat. I have tried 3 times now,, put lots of pins in but the back still looks rippled. Any tips as yours looks nice and flat.

I went online and searched for how to sandwich a quilt and went by that. I laid it out flat on the floor and stuck it down. Then I smoothed the top onto the batting and rolled it up. Then placing very carefully on top of backing I rolled it out flat from one end to the other. Then pinned it. Hope this helps.

Is there a pattern that we can get for this? I would be interested.

I'm sorry I do not have a pattern... I saw one similar on pininterest and just worked out size I wanted and worked it out from there.

Beautiful combo of colors, I wouldn't have thought to put together! Are you going to 'bind' it in red, too? Great job!!
