What was your inspiration?
I went to a quilt expo with a friend a few years ago and fell in love with all the beautiful quilts and fabrics. I came home with a small stack of fabrics and tons of ideas.
What are you most proud of?
This was my first patchwork project so a beginner can make it, but it was a little intimidating at first. It was supposed to be a pillow or wall hanging, but I had extra material so I made a second block and joined the two together. I still had extra fabric and was having such a good time that I made a couple of extra blocks that I'll use on the back.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Relax! Quilting should not be stressful.
