Moda Dea Sassy Stripes

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If I were to make these socks again, first off I wouldn't use the Moda Dea Sassy Stripes yarn. The colors are pretty, but it's 100% acrylic and it does not breathe. Secondly, I would make the ribbing at the top of the socks a bit longer to help them stay up and / or add elastic. When I wear these socks, they never want to stay up.

My granddaughter wanted knee socks, but I was afraid they wouldn't stay up. Glad I didn't make them, but the elastic idea sounds great!!!
