What advice would you give someone starting this project? I wrote a blog about the whole shoot which included 8 cowls, 1 sweater, and 1 tank - a list of things not to do when shooting your first time. Check it out at lnlecochicknits.blogspot.com The "Off the Cuff" cowl pattern will be released early September

Very nice style, gorgeous color and I love that button. It accentuates your cowl beautifully. You and your Dad make a good team.

Thank you Ipanema. I think I'm going to cajole my mom into joining the team too - I need someone with a good eye to catch for unwanted folds and what not. A lot of my pictures had the edging folding under and neither my dad nor I noticed it. The button is a 2" coconut dyed blue!

I hate to have bulky scarves around my neck so this is perfect. It's just enough.

Thanks Imma. A lot of my cowls are between 25-27 inches long, so depending on where you sew on the button you can achieve a more open or a more close-fitting style.

I just wanted to let you know that the pattern is now available - tech edited and ready to knit! I just can't figure out how to link to my shop.
