I followed the pattern and instructions and tried to match the colors in the orginal because it was so cute! I will be trying a lot of different colors schemes too!Difficulty:

I live near the ocean and love handmade stuff that relates to it.
What are you most proud of?
That I actually finished it! I have not sewed anything for quite a while.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have patience with making the scales. It is worth it. Once they are made, the rest of the purse goes together very quickly.
