What was your inspiration?

This class was my inspiration, and looking at the beautiful samples that Cindy shows during the lessons.

What are you most proud of?

Im so proud of my progress so far, a few weeks ago my feathers looked dreadfull, Now they look like feathers. So once the practise mini quilt is finished it will be on to the real thing and hopefully a bit bigger than this one.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I now have the confidence to quilt my own quilts and small projects. Up till now i have sent them to a quilter to do on her longarm. Not any more! Anyone who thinks they cant quilt there own projects should take this class. You will be surprised what you can achieve. Thankyou Craftsy and a big thankyou to Cindy. Your class has given me the confidence i needed.

The feather spines look great and add such interest that draws your eye around the piece. Lots of highlights and shadows too. Deb

Thankyou Cindy, It wasnt planned that way, Well none of it was planned except for the outside border. I just wanted to practice a border of feathers and it just grew and grew. I hope you enjoy your visit to Adelaide next week for the AMQF.
