What needles did you use? US 6 / 4.0 mm / UK 8

What materials did you use? This is a similar cardigan with raglan sleeves, but I didn't like the lace raglan detail for the cardigan. I also skipped the ribbing detail for the edging and knitted in stockinette instead.

What are you most proud of? Since I've finished this cardigan, I've been wearing it all over town. It's a nice transitional piece, and no need to pull up the "sleeves," since it's the perfect 3/4 length. (Which means I can wash my hands and dishes without soaking the cardigan cuffs).

Love the shaping of the sweater, how did you figure the right amount?

In my mind, "shaping" can be done three ways, using short rows, using different sized needles, or in this case, allowing the fabric to "drape." The weight of the yarn is draping the figure. The cardigan can't be too tight nor too loose to achieve this.

I made this sweater once and obviously never did my measurements. It came out alright but way too big, I would like to trim it down and have it fit more like the model's does. You had said you just used different sized needles on this sweater or did you do short rows too. Would love to recreate it!

Looks great! I love the edging in your cardigan. It gives the cardi a special look.

Thank you!

Cara, I love how you did the bottom band! And another way to shape is to add cables....i'd love to do another of these and shape with some cables in the back. your work is really nice!

I love your creative ideas and bravery to modify the pattern. I've never thought of using cables to create shaping, how novel!
