Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Anne Heap, is a fantastic instructor. She explained everything so well, and so nicely. loved it.

What are you most proud of? This is my first attempt at figure modelling. I think i have done 50% justice, have a long way to go and lot of practice required. I will be making my first Birthday cake for my 5 years old baby girl. And this figuring is she :) lol. More than me she was proud of what i did. so yea this is a proud moments.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? 1. have lot of patients. 2. color all your gumpaste a day before. 3. use different gloves each time you color, as little traces of colors gets into the other color. 4. Give enough drying time, before you start putting on the cloths and ornaments. 5. use the glue only where required, as it leaves a shine which is cought very well in pictures, and you dont want that :). 6. last but not least...Enjoy. it might not be perfect, but believe me you will get there.
