You crosshatched with a decorative stitch, right? Nice work. I really like the look!

Yes, I used a variation of the serpentine stitch on my Babylock, and made it less wavy. It took some time to sew all those rows, but I was pleased with the results. I have only finished a couple of quilts myself and I have trouble with doing decent FMQ. Your method is way better!
