Still have a few fitting issues -- some wrinkles in the front and back-- but overall am pleased. Used an inexpensive denim since I knew they might not be perfect. I few things I discovered/modified. I used Angela Wolf's pattern. - I made the rise about 1 inch higher and made the waistband narrower. - My machine does not like to do a zigzag with the denim thread. Next time I will use regular thread and triple stitch. - Hammering is wonderful!

The jeans look like from a shop, really great. And thanks for the tips - Ill go with triple stitch too.

Love the jeans! I like the narrower waistband, it fits you so well :)

Hello Ann! Your first attempt looks really good on you (better than you realize) and at least you have yours DONE! Here I am sitting on everything I need to begin but keep chickening out...this gives me inspiration to try it despite the fitting issues I know my uneven hips will have. Good job Ann!
