Do you sell this cake? No, just for fun

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Used the products I had at home, my goal was to bake a good cake from scratch. Frosting is premade but I had fun using the spoon method for the design. I put raspberry jam in the middle. Haven't eaten it yet, waiting for my husband the guinea pig!

Made the creamed cake following the class video. I have never been successful at baking a cake from scratch. I didn't have cake flour so I used regular and reduced the amount just a bit. Gave me something to do on this day of a Spring Blizzard!!

You did great!

The cake was a little dry and heavy. I will use cake flour next time. I also need to go buy some supplies for decorating etc.
