What materials did you use? I used Kaffe large prints and black sashing. The thread is 50/2 Aurofil cotton in a navy blue.

I finally did an all-over design without marking! I used the methods Leah taught and it was fun. While not "show quality," I am proud of it!

Nice work. My first free motion attempt was a four patch (it is in a picture on Craftsy). I tried following the lines, then I tries stippling, which looks more like squiggling. I ended up giving the quilt to my mother in law who has poor eyesight. My skills have improved significantly but that quilt gave me the courage to do more.

Thanks for the encouragement! I think once you get the first one out of the way the door is wide open to create. It really does give you a bit of confidence.
