What materials did you use? scraps of fabric gifted to me from a friend

I attempted feathers before but was not as happy with my result. After hearing Angela say to have the angle of the feather reach up towards the stem as if it would connect I had much better results. I quilted the stem all the way around the quilt before I did any feathers. I also practiced drawing on paper quite a bit for a couple of days before I got up the nerve to try it on my machine. I think this also helped.
