What was your inspiration?
My oldest daughter Saige. She was estranged from me and her other siblings and as a reminder of the love her mother, step-dad, and siblings that grew up with her and siblings that would like to know her, have for her. Unfortuneatly, for a brief moment she stopped by our home, I shared the (at the time) unfinished blanket with her and she didn't seem to care much for it so I held onto it after completion.
What are you most proud of?
All four of my children and my husband presented on the face of the blanket.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be as original and as creative as you can. Since, I have had several requests to make these blankets, for mother's day, christmas, or just because. Each and everyone of them is unique. I never use patterns. I create it as the pattern forms together in my mind.
