What materials did you use? I purchased the Downton Abbey Wedding Ring quilt kit in March. I also leaned heavily on the video for instructions.

Looks really nice. Did you use the foundation paper piecing or the traditional method?

I used the traditional method, although, very challenging, I love to piece fabric. Paper piecing is fun and I do use it for smaller projects.

I was able to attend an advanced Handi Quilter class in Utah in October. So glad I went, learned many tricks and tips. Also found my backing for the Wedding Ring Quilt in Utah! Will be starting the quilting process in the next couple of weeks. Will be happy to finish it!

So excited! I finished my Downton Abbey Wedding Ring quilt on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas to me!

I learned so much about about my longarm (HandiQuilter) when quilting this project. No better way to learn all the ins and outs of quilting until you try. I would change the size of my quilting patterns to be somewhat closer to the seams but I am very happy that I finally finished a wedding ring quilt after a couple of previous attempts.
