I would be using the DK Cotton Tape Yarn. I was playing around with color, not sure how these would look in reality, but am leaning toward the Eagle Nebula inspired colors.
What was your inspiration?
Was playing with color palettes..... which usually makes me very nervous! :)
DECIDED TO JUST GO FOR IT!!
3/5/13 - Finally decided on colors..... doing the "Pretty as a Peacock" palette.
In Lucci Cotton Tape: Cobalt, Teal, Wedgewood & Creme de Menthe. (Ordered)
What are you most proud of?
That I actually like some of the color combinations I came up with. Specifically the Eagle Nebula one. I just picked things I really love; autumn, lilacs, frogs, peacocks and beautiful sky stuff and went from there.
It was easier and more fun than I anticipated. Now I'm having a hard time deciding what colors to go with! LOL
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
All the palettes are using the Lucci Cotton Tape Yarn:
Pretty as a Peacock: Cobalt, Teal, Wedgewood & Creme de Menthe
Hydrangea: Wedgewood, French Blue, Mineral Green & Creme de Menthe
Lilacs: Grey, Olive, Lilac & Eggplant
Eagle Nebula: Teal, Gold, Chocolate & Beige
Autumn Delight: Gallant Red, Rust, Olive & Chocolate
Mossy Froggy: Gold, Olive, Mineral Green & Beige
