What was your inspiration?
Here's the deal. I get dressed and ready to go out the door. . . . The only thing left to do--is to touch up my makeup and brush my teeth. It never fails; a splat of watery toothpaste or liquid makeup lands on the blouse I just ironed and put on. Now I have to change my blouse!
I decided to make myself some "fun" adult-size bathroom bibs to cover my blouse.
What are you most proud of?
The backside of the bibs can be made of different fabrics--making them reversible!!! And, it is a great way to use up scraps of fabric--all different sizes.
This project gives an opportunity to audition new machine embroidery designs to see how they look--before using them on other projects.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you are tired of certain fabric leftovers in your stash--combine them to make your own fabric.
