This cake required many hours of work, yet it was a labor of love....for me! My husband wanted to just buy me a birthday cake and I told him turning 60 deserved a special cake. Colette Peters provided me with the inspiration to do so!So just follow Colette Peters instruction and you will have a wonderful cake!

What are you most proud of?
I am proud I actually did a cake like this. I had been doing fondant cakes for only fourteen months when i watched Colette Peters' Piece of Cake class. I love a challenge and this definitely was the most challenging cake I had done at that point in time.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Allow yourself plenty of time and be patient!
