I had some challenges LOL!!! When I started the first side the initial patches weren't level and it put the whole side at an angle and I wanted it level. So, I had to cut out the center and tilt it back to straight. I would recommend to anyone starting this project that that make sure that the starting patches are straight and level! Then I realized that I had cut out one of the backings and batting backwards ( put the fold on the wrong side of the pattern and had to adjust for that. THEN I put the magnetic snap on the wrong side of the flap and had to make a new one. I was trying to go by memory from the video. I thought it might be helpful to have a printable list of steps. Also was working at a disadvantage in that I couldn't back stitch on the machine I was using! I have always had trouble with applying bias binding as well and had to re-apply it a few times. I am very happy with the result though (In my defense I was mostly working at night when I was tired!!!!)
