This is my 1st Swoon block! I LOVE IT! I did this one as a test to see whether I could piece this pattern OK. I had to put my walking foot on for the last few seams (probably should have done it sooner). I'm going to make this into a mini-quilt wall hanging for my 12yo daughter's room. And I think that I've worked up the courage to cut into my Chicopee to make a king sized Chicopee Swoon quilt for our master bedroom! Woohoo!

Looks awesome! Aren't they fun to do, especially once you get the hang of it? I'm doing them one at a time but I love it too. The block looks completely different when you swap the colours and the emphasis gets on the inner part and not the star (I prefer the star points to stand out though). Great job!

Yummy! And a great job. I have trouble seeing which way I like the emphasis and yours really shows me a concept my brain does not register well. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I agree with comment below, I like the star points to shine, but it's a toss up really. Congrats on your efforts.

Actually, I agree with the comment ABOVE. I always forget the placement of the comments, much like my quilting squares as I shuffle them around.
