What was your inspiration?
I have a former private student who is about to move off to college. I've kind of become a bit of a big sister to her over the years. She's very much into the goth culture and LOVES Halloween, bats, pumpkins, spiders and the color purple. She still plays and writes music (runs in her family). I'm putting together a small gathering of useful items to give her as a gift next week.
What are you most proud of?
How easy and straightforward it was. :) The good instructions helped a ton!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You will probably need to adjust the tension a couple of times. I found that when I sewed the joining seam, the tension was too tight because of all the layers. I had so many issues with that before I figured it out. Lol (Probably doesn't help that I believe the machine is due for service ;) )
