This is adorable! It makes me wish I was still teaching preschool so I could make it for my classroom. Did you have a pattern, or just wing it?

No pattern ... hungry caterpillar is made up of 1" (finished) strips. I drew him up to scale before I started and worked out the measurements for cutting.
