What materials did you use? cotton. plus some poly/cotton. (Mum is very particular about the colours, and I couldn't find anything to match exactly the fabric she loved previously.. so I thought I'd just buy her favourite fabric as a quilt cover, chop it up to add to her quilt.. and use the back fabric in pillows... so what might have seemed expensive is actually economical.. wasn't too sure about mixing cottons with poly but what the heck???)

Mum chose a quilt on the net which I've tried to replicate.. not very successfully, but the original pic had very basic quilting which is great for my skill level at present. The thread I chose was cream poly 60 wt.
