What was your inspiration?
I read a cozy mystery about quilters and decided I needed just one more hobby...
The blocks are from the book "Make your first quilt" from M'Liss Rae Hawley
First I didn't really know what to do with my practice quilt but then I realized that my mother would love the colours and could use a lap quilt. So that was my motivation to actually finish the quilt.
What are you most proud of?
This is my first quilt ever. It's not perfect but looks pretty good. I'm proud that I didn't only sew the top but finished the whole quilt :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You can really manage this without a special sewing machine, it works just fine with what you already have at home.
