What was your inspiration?
Earlier this year I joined a flickr swap and one of the things my mystery partner requested was a bag big enough to carry all her sewing things in including a hoop. So I set out to design her one. It was such a hit and I had so many requests for a pattern that I decided to make another one and write a pattern as I went.
What are you most proud of?
the 'engineering' of the interior gusseted divider section. Lot's of seams in there! and of course, because I always need a challenge (lol!) I decided it had to be padded as well to protect my ipad should I choose to put it there!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Go with fabrics you love and want to show off.
