Multi-color Necklace

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Brilliant Knit Beads with Betsy Hershberg »

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Casual, Classic

Materials

Sock yarn, embroidery floss, wooden beads, wine corks, purchased gold beads, Wildfire monofilament, magnetic closures

What was your inspiration?

I liked the colors in this yarn and enjoyed picking them up in the round beads.

What are you most proud of?

When I first put the cork and round beads together, the necklace looked really boring. I found the little gold beads to put in between and it really perked up the whole piece.

What a fabulous necklace, I really like the colours you have used. And the different direction of the knitwork in the wrappers. I think the addition of the gold spacers are a great touch, it flows. Well done, beautiful. And just in time for fall and winter!

Wonderful!! Thanks for showing how you can create such great projects with these beads even if you don't knit WITH beads. I love working with variegated yarns. Great work!
