Materials
I used scraps from previous Stupendous Stitching projects which included cotton fabrics, fusible fleece, Wonder Under, pearl cottom embroidery thread, misc. trims; for this project I added satin ribbon, rattail cording, Velcro dot and a decorative button
What was your inspiration?
My scraps of Stupendous Stitching that I could not bring myself to part with... I knew they'd have a purpose and I was waiting for the right project. I will be traveling soon and want to take my Mp3 player, but want a case where I can safely stash it AND the cords and earbuds, and it not be a ziplock bag. You may recognize some of the pieces from previous projects... waste not, want not they say!
What are you most proud of?
I realize this project will not set the world on fire but, for me, it will provide function, convenience and be artsy, colorful and expressive all at the same time!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Keep those scraps from other projects. You put the same work into what was cut off as to what you already used!
