What was your inspiration?

I've always been a huge Van Gogh fan.

What are you most proud of?

I'm proud of the threadpainting and the pintucked frame. Also, when first started I did not know how large I wantyed to make it so I did not have enough backing to add a regular innner and outer border so they were put on using Cotton Theory, a quilt-as-you-go technique developed by Betty Cotton.Originanl

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Originally this was suppose to be a scrap project and I saved little snippets of fabric for months but I found
the colors did not really work so most of the snippets of fabric were cut from regular fat quarters which is what I would advise anyonw interested in making something similar to do.
