What are you most proud of? My mother said that I had done a beautiful job and that my abilities had far exceeded anything she had made for me. I didn't feel that way, but it was good to hear her praise.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Consult your serger book and know how to use a three thread rolled hem with a stitch length of 2.0. It is helpful to starch all of the trims prior to combing the fabric and trims. Practice gathering with your serger or you can use a machine. You can choose trims, laces, and fabric that remind you of your mother and have fun joining them to create an heirloom that will be passed on in your family in memory of your mother and you, the sewist.

Thank you for taking time to comment on the beauty of this pillow. It is relatively quick after you obtain the materials. The instructions are for use in a class that I teach, but I will check with Martha Pullen to see if I am allowed to post them on a site such as Craftsy.

Thanks Sandy, but unfortunately, I really do not do sewing, The reason because I love it the most, it is the type of pillow I should use daily for my severly damaged cervical bones, Dr said it should be extra firm neck roll . Thanks for sharing
