Cotton and polyester fabrics, batting, polyester threads, monophilament thread, steam-a-seam lite2, tracing paper, pen, marking pen, scissors, a photo for inspiration and to refer to, Photoshop or likewise for seperating the colors on the photo.
What was your inspiration?
The Norwegian quiltartist Bente Kultorp Andresen. http://www.bentekultorpandresen.com/
She makes most pictorial quilts, but also some art quilt. She also hand dye fabrics for her
own use and for sale.
What are you most proud of?
That I quilted it and that was when I didn't know anyting about quilting and quiltmotifs. I looked a lot at Leah Day's website for inspirations. I didn't know how to attache the binding, so I refered to a little handbook. I didn't come out well, so one year later, when I had learned more, I remade the binding.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
