simple pattern for mittens using 4mm needles cast on 31sts rib until work measures 5cms nxt row eyelets row K1 round round needle K2 tog K2 rep til end, work in stocking st K row P row, until work measures 11.5cm nxt row K1 K2tog K10 K2tog K1 K2tog K10 K2tog K1 nxt row purl, nxt row K1 K2tog K8 K2tog K1 K2tog K8 K2tog K1 nxt row purl nxt row K1 K2tog K6 K2tog K1 K2tog K6 K2tog K1 nxt row cast off.
