What materials did you use? My husband created a tee-pee style trellis by tying five six foot bamboo poles together with grape vine about one foot from the top then spread them out in a two foot diameter circle and pushed them about six inches into the soil. He then spiralled more grape vine around the poles. I soaked morning glory seeds by wrapping them in damp paper towel for about 24 hours. Then popped them in the ground all around the circle. They grew so quickly they were all the way to the top of the poles, all wrapped around, within three weeks. Now I can't wait every morning to see how many more are blooming. They are so lovely.

What are you most proud of? How quickly the structure came together and how beautifully it filled up a hole at the front of the garden.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just go for it. Morning glories are one of the simplest flowers to grow from seed.
