Instructions

sand well so that you can get smooth slightly rounded edges. First try I tried to engrave initials went to deep piece broke at weak point. Lesson learned: keep thickness even! I made this with the girl who likes more simple. clean jewelry.

Beautiful! I love the contrast between the shine of the raised areas and the more matte 'valleys. (This would be a good project to get an old stainless steel spoon and burnish those high points if you haven't already. It's hard for me to tell from the pic). Good repair work, too, that's one of the beauties of metal clay. The good news is you quickly develop a feel for it's breaking point. Quite frankly, I just bought a dedicated coffee grinder to grind up my broken pieces, so don't feel bad! ; )
