Very cool quilt top! I really like your colour choices. It would be fun, albeit a challenge, to try making the overlapping areas appear transparent. Please post again when it's all quilted.

Beautiful color choice for this type of quilt: black, white, and two complementary.--but with a twist. I'm glad to see prints can "work" in a modern quilt.

I finally have it layered to quilt. Will post a new pic once I'm done. This was really fun to make.

I like this very much. Simple, yet bold. Very modern.

After I sewed the rows together, I found I like it even more vertically. I will bind it in the same off white solid..

I decided to give it another go. I choose fabrics I rarely use and a shape that I have seen around and thought I might like to try. Its done in columns (which aren't sewn together yet) and I really love it. I need to stop worrying if my projects will match the decor in my house and branch out into other colors. I was a little surprised at how much I like it.
