|Here are some details about my project:|
|Type||3 or more Tiers|
|Material||Buttercream, Gum Paste|
Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I just followed the instructions from the class. I used a marble cake recipe from a Martha Stewart site and the buttercream recipe from the video. I added the "messy on purpose" look to all 3 tiers instead of just the bottom.
What are you most proud of? The way the whole thing came together. I was worried about stacking the cakes, but it was a cinch.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure that you have all of the recommended supplies. The offset spatula and scraper are a must. Also, make sure to have some extra ingredients in case you need more of something. I needed to make another small batch of buttercream in order to finish.
