Style Classic, Traditional, Romantic

What materials did you use? 100% cotton quilting fabric, cut into strips 1" - 3" in width. Strip quilting is time consuming, but the results are beautiful.

What are you most proud of? This is a wall quilt that can easily convert into a lap quilt.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make it your own and choose any palet that you like.

Brilliant colour choice! I love your quilt very much! Thank you for sharing! You write that your "wall quilt that can easily convert into a lap quilt". How did you do that? Did you make a fabric sleeve for the pole it hangs on? Could you explain, please? I'm making a quilt for my little niece at the moment, and I want it to be able to convert from a wall hanging to a crib quilt.

I hand sewed a sleeve on the back so that I could just cut the stitches to make it a lap quilt.

Oh my goodness! I made this wall-hanging quilt. I loved the design and bought Elsie M. Campbell book in order to make this quilt. I will take a photo and add it to the projects.

Here is the book the patern came from...Plaid Poppies from "String Quilts" by Elsie M. Campbell. I found it at JoAnn Fabrics. I don't know if it is online.
