Instructions

This fabric is NOT the right material for piecing - I learned my lesson the hard way.

It slides like crazy and makes the process really complicated, inaccurate and frustrating, that's why I chose "advanced" difficulty.

What was your inspiration?

BOM February - Balkan Puzzle.

What are you most proud of?

Making mom happy despite all the sewing frustrations! Her image holding the case close to her and her hand caressing it made it all worthy!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Enjoy the learning process!!
You might notice that I pieced one part with the wrong orientation. Add the fact that it's the most horrible fabric to work with, and that it shreds like crazy... That mistake really bugs me, but mom didn't mind at all. I would have ripped that and re-pieced if I had made that for myself.
