What was your inspiration?
Having a matching pair of gloves to go with your new hat is always fun, so I decided that I wanted to have a set of gloves to go with the hats I made. The ribbed cuffs match the hats brim and they are the same weave as the hats. I just love them!
What are you most proud of?
The way the hats and gloves look when warn with each other. Especially if you have the right outfit to go with them. I wish I could wear this color because I would probably keep these for myself and my daughter but sadly we look washed out and sick wearing this color or any color green. :(
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you measure the hands and the thumb area, it is really easy to make the thumbs different sizes without knowing it. Always count your stitches and don't make the opening where the hand goes in too tight, You'll never get them on.
