What materials did you use? Some fabric in my "stash", fusible interfacing and fleece, color pencils, textile medium, some trim from my "stash", broken jewelry pieces,

What are you most proud of? I'm just proud of the fact that I finished it. Making clothes has begun to bore me...takes too I can create something and enjoy it or give it as a gift within a few days or even the same day.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time...especially with the ear. Next time I'll do Van Gogh, from his left side!

Did you use a pattern fabric as your base, or paint and color it - either way it is very effective

The fabric I used had a floral pattern...just some left over fabric I had around the house as I had no solids. I only colored the part of the flowr that overlapped her face and part of her neck...the rest is just part of the overall fabric.

Wow, this is insanely gorgeous. I just got the same machine as you. Bit of a learning curve, eh? After seeing this, I just have to sign up for the class! Thanks for the inspiration and well done!
