What materials did you use? This is a scrap project, using a pattern from the Re-Piecing the Past quilting class. I used what I had in my stash as a way of utilizing the fat quarter Border Collie dog print I had purchased years ago. The quilt is "crib size" and works great as a lap quilt in our ranch style living room.

What are you most proud of? This is the largest project I have completed in a long time, and I think it shows off the dogs really well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Start with the novelty print and decide what size the center block needs to be to feature it, then calculate the rest of the block from there. Sherman's March is easy to resize so it's a good one for this purpose.
