Great quilt is right!!!! Love it! Are all the hexis appliqued? Orange is my favorite color but I wouldn't have thought to make the whole quilt of it. So cool!

Your color choices are very inspiring. I wouldn't have thought to pair orange and brown. They work so well together!

Are you using only batiks for your oranges? Can you tell me about how you chose your fabrics? Did you pick them out ahead of time or as you went along? Did you ever find that something didn't work?

it's not brown, it's solid black plus my collection of many orange fabrics. No batiks in this quilt tho I do love batiks :)
