This pattern is sized mostly through a side gusset that makes it easy to adjust to your body. Use care in working and laundering this project as it is a single strand of mohair and is delicate until completed. Once completed and dry this garment wears very well.

What was your inspiration?

I had made a heavier version that I found warm but bulky. I wanted to eliminate the bulkiness but maintain the warmth and have the sweater as light as possible. This is a redesign of that pattern and the results were terrific! Nice drape, lightweight and lots of texture and visual interest

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be careful not to stretch the yarn and fabric as you work. Wash by hand, squeeze to dry and roll and blot in a towel. Lay flat to dry. This sweater can be hung up or folded to store.
