What materials did you use? 108" wide bridal veiling, 1/2" grosgrain ribbon, thin braided ribbon

What are you most proud of? My idea worked! By gathering the veiling onto a 2"wide piece of ribbon that had loops sewn onto it, the bride can easily slip the cathedral onto her shorter veil for the ceremony and easily take it off again for the reception. The veil is very secure in the hair.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be scared to step out of the box. It is quite fun and easy to make a veil. My future daughter in law made her veil all by herself with my tender support and she isn't a crafter (yet, I'll get her there!). The veil turned out beautiful.

Great job Peggy and nice work with the detachable idea!
