What was your inspiration?
I saw this pattern and a finished sample in a quilt shop. They also carried some beautiful coordinating fabrics - who could resist???
What are you most proud of?
That is hard to say - the quilting was optional, but I did quilt every part - the bottom, the sides, the inside (yes, it is) and even the front pocket. It adds to much to the purse.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read the instructions carefully. I did have to "unsew" :) and once I missed some quilting (on another bag) because I didn't realize that WAS my opportunity right then to do it.
