What materials did you use? I had fallen in love with The Farmer's Wife Quilts I had seen all over pinterest. I found a link to a Craftsy.com designer for her Farmer's Wife Quilt Revival. I purchased the lessons and today I thought I would do a test of a couple of blocks. I want to make a modern, crisp retro vintage style and thought I would try a layout which suited my style more than the on point layout which is traditionally done. My test results are the two blocks. My score is "yes" I have decided that I will use the trellis layout. I started another group to work through each of Karen Walker's lessons as a Quilt Along we begin in 2014 - 2015. Nice! Are you using new hand positions and rotary cutting techniques, Scheri?

Yes, I use am. Not interested in using templates. Karen's lessons make it so much easier.

I now have the Spock Hand automatically now! This class has made the most difference in my results. Without proper cutting techniques everything is all askew. Thanks!
