What advice would you give someone starting this project? Piecing of the connectors takes almost as much time as the blocks! I don't know when it will become a quilt as I haven't a clue how I'm going to quilt it - waiting on inspiration?!

Fabulous!!! I would never have thought to use color like this, but it's wonderful!!!

Thank you, Ronni! I'm rather dreading trying to quilt this one - maybe just all over diagonal lines?

Why am I JUST NOW running into this absolutely beautiful creation???!??!!!? Civil War blocks are not my thing either, but you make me think I need to think about that. This is so eye catching, and soothing at the same time. This really is an updated version of the good ol' classics, with a bit of attitude yet still classy. What took me so long to find this?

Thank you, Dude! I don't know about you, but I'm having trouble finding the new stuff of the people I follow. If you look at my projects, you'll find the finally quilted version. I was pleased at how it turned out. Civil War repro fabrics are so not my thing!

Great quilt. I also have several quilts that I need to quilt. I'd rather piece! I took Crafty's Walking Foot class by Jacqueline Gering, and I am so inspired by that one. This Kaye England class has made me want to do a Sampler.
