silver art clay, slip, brush, amazing mold putty, roller, parchment paper, hot coffee mug heater, cork clay, small box lid, olive oil, lots of time- will be using files, sanding tools, carving tools, brass brush, evenheat kiln and a lot more time.
What was your inspiration?
keep seeing all these patterns for cameos but none of them really look like the women of today or even of yesterday.. more like a decade ago to me.. so I thought I would try to make something that kind of looks like what we look like now more...
What are you most proud of?
the clay did not crumble when it came out of the mold-
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
enjoy what you do and be happy even when they turn out to be something completely different that what you had thought they would be.. ie I was attempting to make a cameo and am told it looks more like a witch.. who knows.. maybe I will make a hat for it and call it a year.. :) nah.. maybe.. idk.. but no matter if you attempt to make this or any other project, always use safety precautions and always have fun with whatever you are doing- life is too short to be miserable for too long.. :) a little while is ok so you can like the good days but when every day is horrible then its time to make a change.. :) So, BE HAPPY! :)
