Vanna's Choice Yarn in 8 different colors (see pattern for specific colors). I substituted pink for dusty rose.
What was your inspiration?
I have not been crocheting long, but I wanted to try something more than just sc or dc, or even the classic ripple (I've done several baby blankets). My sister-in-law is getting married at the end of June and I wanted to be able to give her something I made. This afghan is classic, yet with a modern twist.
What are you most proud of?
Noted as being at an "intermediate" level, and me being pretty much a beginner, I was excited to finish this in only a couple of weeks. It was a fun pattern.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Sew in some of the ends as you go along. For me, this made the task not so overwhelming at the end. (It's my least favorite part!)
